Submit Semi-Annual Safety Report

Safety Council Rebate Program Eligibility Requirements FY10

Attention Safety Council Members:

External training certificates for this year’s discount program must be submitted to the Safety Council by June 30, 2009. It is the employer’s responsibility to submit documentation of external training to the Safety Council.

BWC does not notify safety councils of employer attendance at WCU, Ohio Safety Congress or Division of Safety & Hygiene training courses. Safety Councils are required to submit a list of discount-eligible employer policy numbers to the Division of Safety & Hygiene immediately following the conclusion of the fiscal year.

Please make note of this important date.  Attendance credit will not be granted for external training certificates received beyond this date.

WELCOME

The Stark County Safety Council is one of over 80 safety councils in Ohio which is made up of local companies dedicated to the safety of their employees. Regular meetings are held to examine and resolve potential and existing safety problems. The Council informs participants about new safety techniques, products and services.

In conjunction with the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Division of Safety and Hygiene, the Council directs safety campaigns throughout the county to promote a greater interest in the prevention of occupational accidents and disease. Participating companies with the highest safety records during the year are honored at the annual awards banquet.
