Annually, the Division
of Safety & Hygiene publishes the
Safety Leader's Discussion Guide. The
monthly articles are written in a style that
encourages participation and interaction
and includes lists of additional resources. For the
first time this year, DSH accepted submissions from
the public and staff to create the guide.
Monthly 2009 Discussion Guide topics include: job
safety analysis, computer workstation ergonomics
training, traffic control/flaggers, hand tool
safety, safety on the road, preventing cuts and
lacerations, combustible dust in the workplace,
crisis plans for schools, asbestos awareness,
protecting older workers, and safety management
systems.
